  1. we also came up with a scenario today... if the casualty was out on the end of a limb with no obvious re-direct above the casualty what would be the safest way to get him/her down without the risk of a pendulum swing.....

We try do do a couple a month , after much practice and trials we found youd be pretty stuffed if you cut yourself .Pre installed rescue lines speed it all up on large trees ..hope i never have to use it Totally agree there... we did a large willow take down last week, covered in ivy, if i had to get spikes on and get to the casualty time aint on your side so a static pre installed rescue line was put in. lets hope that none of us have to go through with a rescue at the end of the day...
  3. Hi to all, its my first thread so be gentle... I work for a local authority and today we carried out our monthly aerial rescue practice. I just wondered how often anybody else does this to keep on top of techniques/methods.
