  1. Just going Vat registered and would be interested to hear peoples views on the flat rate scheme, I take it everyone would be on 9%.

Anyone got any horror stories or good news about Vat.

I'm still a bit in the dark about this one so any views or opinions would be most welcome.

  2. Sorrry Bish took a while to get back to the computer.

From what i can make out it seems that after the grubs hatch out, in the process of finding food they munch their way through the xylem and phloem. In effect ring barking the tree or cutting off the supply to the roots So dead top or dead roots.

We have got some more to fell so i'll let you know what we find.

  3. Tree menders has been done they are a company in Northants.

Personally i'm not to fond of gimicky names its better to come across a bit more professional and i think that can start with a good name.

Town and Country tree surgeons seems to be the pikies favorite round these parts.

  5. I think ol' Dickie Branson said something like " be nice to people on the way up, cause you never know who you'll need on the way down".

Business is Business, but you may well need to sub yourself to a few local firms in your formative years.Best not to piss off the locals.

what goes around comes around. Just think of it as projecting good karma.:proud:

  6. OK dokey

1 Transit weighs 2400kg unladen thats with all the kit in the boxes. Got to go pretty careful with filling it. we got a tipping trailer on its way to go behind th hi lux. The box is big to catch chip (i got fed up with blowing chip off the green hi lux)

    2. The Hi Lux Had a 7 Inch lift and 35 inch tyres and still managed to handle the weight ok it sat down at the back but no worries other wise. Just THIRSTY

3 Mattyf I think you did see me, hows things going. Are you not with matt b any more.

  7. Suppose in this case its better to reduce the tree and keep it rather then let it grow too big for its surroundings and have to remove it further down the line. Looks like the planners have done there usual and let a load of houses be built way too close to the tree.
