The dumpy bag is 0.8 of a cubic metre, we sell all our firewood y the cubic metre, we also state to the customer that we measure every cube loos in a cubic metre basket then tip this into the trucks, if we sell by the dumpy bag we stte that they are not the builders dumpy bags but are a cubic metre bags filled loose, you need to take note of what Steve said, if trading standards get you it will be ongoing.

Well done Steve, good job looks great

Going rate seems to be around £500 for someone to build a site and around £5-£10 per month for hosting. Or get something like Front Page and build your own. Mines paid for itself many times over.
My X wife builds our sites, hosting is £4.95 per month, she has various price structures for, amounts of text & design they start from £450 to ?. Give her a call on 08454660269 or email [email protected]

Over the coming months we will be looking at running discussions to go into print with essential arb magazine, this will hopefully prove mutally beneficial for both the magazine and arbtalk.
I'd like to start off the first topic regarding Advertising of your business, particularly how you feel the internet benefits your business. For website owners, how much effort do you put into running your website? have you had it designed and left to do its job or do you actively promote it and work on optomizing your site for google?
please stay on topic and sensible in this one guys
We find that 90% of our business comes from the internet (http://www.arborworksltd.co.uk), we optomize the site monthly and get a good ranking with google, we need to update the pictures but apart from that the site does the work for us

So we have built a new smoker. It’s an industrial scale thing with the smoke chamber built out of a 45 gallon drum.
Anyhow, I have the traditional range of woods but someone recons Alder is a candidate. It’s not one I would have used before. Anyone got any experience or other suggestions?
We supply all types of wood for smoking, we also import Hickory from the states if you need any.

The beetle flys in May only, yes it will attack hard & soft wood alike

You only need a heat tank if you are burning firewood, the pelet master will run a 4 bed house with 2 bathrooms on aound 3 tone of pellets a year, think of the savings over oil, I know you still need to buy the boiler but the return is quick. It also fits right into you original heating system with little plumbing
-
Take a look at our site http://www.arborworksltd.co.uk we stock the Pellet Master & Log Master, all details & prices are on the site. We would be happy to help with any enquires

So far this week on my defender 130 I've:
Put a new engine in,
A new front axle
New shocks all round
New discs all round
New calipers all round
New pads all round
It had loads of play in the drive which was cured by the front axle, it bounced around abit which was cured by the shocks, to stop within a reasonable distance it took me standing on the brake pedal.
When I looked at the brakes the fronts weren't brilliant, two pots were stiff, the rear discs were only contacting on 75%, one of the rear pistons was seized and the other side hub seal was leaking wetting one side of that disc.
New brakes all round, I was expecting the landy to stand on it's nose.
Exactly the bloody same!! The only thing left is the master cylinder and servo. I have checked the servo by disconnecting the vaccum pipe the connecting it with my foot on the pedal and the pedal drops.
Anyone else had similar problems or knows of a master cylinder upgrade.
The brakes are attrocious, even with no weight on.
Dean, change the servo even if you think its OK, ours did the same thing even with 6 wheels breaking, changed the servo and it stands on its nose now
