1. Someone i do work for needs a new ignition barrel for his TW tracked chipper. I know the main dealer will sell him one for a hansome sum. I didnt know if anyones replaced one themselves and found a comparable barrel at a wallet friendly price?

    Cheers

  2. Ha, well I didn't know but I do know. Normally use spikes if I'm chogging down but that's about it. We all ready had the crane for lifting another fallen tree at the same place, lifting it out in 3 sections was a lot quicker than slab ing it all down.

  3. Unfortunately Shane,

I think you might of started a "which is the easiest chipper to roll thread" :D

I've only had problems wit the old little vermeers. Rolled one in a park about 12 years ago doing about 7mph. Forgot about the camber change.

My favourite was a tesco lorry clipping a vermeer on the fore court at a petrol station. Matey sprung to action holding it up and shouting at the driver. I was hopi.g to get a claim in fer a new chipper as that one was on its last legs;)

  4. Surely every tree/situation warrents a different course of action?

I was just curious as to why lyncombe climber thought it was a better option to dismantle?

And by the way, i think its a little to late to brainwash me
