    Hi Guys, New to the site, having decided to change career and how best to do it found this site along the way, advice and encouragement given to arbgarry has been great. good luck to arbgarry on your career, Hope updates to forum are continued to let us know how you get on. I'll keep you updated on how i get on. Just started phoning some larger companies to see if any vacancies available, contacts and advice given was encouraging every one i spoke to was very helpful and wished me luck,

    Found the site through a link somewhere, sorry but can't remember where if it comes backto me i'll let you know. I was just typing in tree sugeon and arborist trying to find out which route best suited me. 1) Get job with local company get experience then hopefully get put through tickets or day/block release at college 2) save up get tickets then look for work 3) do NC or SVQ full time will look into funding to see if any is about because when i phoned SAC scottish agrecultural college was quoted £800 for chainsaw certificate which kind knocked me back a bit.

    Hi guys, Found the forum by chance whilst doing some research into tree surgery and forestry work. Have decided on a career change and looking for the most suitable route into the businees.Have had a quick look at the site and was impressed by threads and friendliness of the reply's. look forward to joining in and picking your brains for ideas and info.
