    Hi Drew, thought I'd seek some advice if you've got a few moments. I'm starting to splice with 6mm Globe and wanted to know if it's a normal doublebraid splice that you use - or something more exotic? It's smaller, and differently constructed, than I normally work on and I'm reluctant to waste unneccessary effort (and money) on avoidable mistakes.
