I would love to have a little Alstor but the price is just stupid ,,,,

it would be great for the kind of small logging jobs I do but the price, I don't think they sell to many of them,,,

Only trouble Ive had with my Husqy can is on the oil can I over tightened the spout and stripped the thread:thumbdown:, But I moded it to get a few more years out of it.Next time probably buy a Stihl one.

Remember the original nozzles were black? We have an old jonsered combi can thats about 30 years old, red with yellow nozzles...

Yes the oldet ones was black but the first batches of green ones did hold up well too, it seems like the new ones with O-rings on the nozzle top are just crap ,,,,

My father in law has Husky can thats over 25 year with the original nozzle's on my "new" can i have changed the nozzle's a couple of times I think they have changed both the plastic it's made of and some of the design ,,,,, my next can will be a stihl can i'm affraid

I don't have saw in 90cc class but my 372xpgw would some what equal to your 440 and my 372 have a bar setup like follow 16"-18"-20"-24"

16" i run with 8pin rim and the others with 7pin ,,,,

my 372 pulls the 24" with authority, but the 20" seems like the best compromise of the bunch and 18" is nicest to run

I have a pair and are very happy with them, they have hold up well so far !

But check so it's the latest model, the first one had some flawes ,,,,,,

The electric M7 is a joy use quick and not so much noise, and about the chainsaws, I believe the reason here in Sweden they sell them with Stihl powerheads is the price for Stihl's are less then for huskys here ,,,

don't think there will be much difference between the two saws maybe some less air-filter cleaning on the 395xp ,,,

Patchwork is your 180 carb fully adjustable or is it some type of auto tune carb !?!?

a muffler mod is only a thing to recomend if you have a fully adjustable carb or the saw will over rev and have big chance of dying ,,,,

for cylinder portwork there should be some info on the net ,, racesaws.com is one and chainsawperformance.com is another the last one is down a the moment though ,,,

here is another pic of two mufflers for the 357xpg/xp

The modded one is the US model and the other is tube muffler for Europe (maybe some other coutries too) ,,

This is what I did to my 357xpg and it works nice, it's a 16mm pipe and gives a healthy boost to the saw

You can also cut the plastic "wings" off the carb screws to get it fully adjustable !

you can use a dremel to grind them off or carpet knife and cut them

works perfect and I do that to all my saws to be sure they get the right amount of fuel !!

it's nice to get a bit more out of your tools

"All" my saws are done and it really makes a difference in power and cutting times !

and as a bonus the engine runs cooler

Meíndl wauldlaufer pro,, very comfy and my pair is running on there third year and are in great shape

I think they are nicer to wear then my Meindl performance boots ,,,,,

But I would really like to try the Haix tibet forest boot !

Don't go with husky boots they suck bigtime we have had lots of trouble with them here in Sweden, go with Haix or Meindl, Meindl is what I use and I really like them my pair is two years now and still holds together,,,,

You should be able to order some Oregon 21Lp (.325 0,58 chisel) from any dealer !?

My dealer here in Sweden do not stock .325 chisel, I have to order it every time I need it, but I can recomend it on the 357xp, it cuts smooth and fast with a 8 rim

Advantage for me is fast and smooth cutting it seems stay sharp longer then regular roundfiled chain in clean wood, if hit a nail or other hard objects it's a bit worse then regular to re sharpe.

I don't think the file prize per chain will be much more than for round filed, I don't think it's the best filing type if brush is what you cut the most with the saw the Atop filed chain is on because it has allot of self feeding ,,,,,If you mostly do brush cutting with saw you plan to use it on you should round in my opinion.

It's silly fun to cut with it though, swoosh and you are through the wood

I would recomend Husky/Jred's Rollerguide it's a good and easy gudie to use very handy

Or if you want a fast cutting chain try the Atop racing cut
