Hi Craig- I am still determined to get one of these cookers now we are renovating our kitchen! Did you find it easy to use and were there only two electric hobs?

there was only 1 electric hob the other two ran off the fire, the electric ring was slow and expensive to use, i mounted a counter top two ring halogen over the top of it

  3. does any one know how the water companies work out what we pay?  the bill says 'charge per £ of RV'  next door is 4 bands higher in rateable value, much bigger house pays £40 less or have i got the wrong end of the stick as the more i look the less sense it makes

  4. i have to agree to the overall sentiment, that the data is flawed, it doesn't drill down deep enough to be of use. they don't say diy or pro, and pro shouldn't be 10 years experience of picking up a saw a couple of times a year, were they wearing PPE , had they done a course or update in the last 5 years, of the few chainsaw accidents I've seen in the last 40 years all were user error. you can never engineer out the ingenuity of stupid

  5. not a great plan imho, if people who dont have a chipper, dont know how to cut, present and stack for one, they also have great expectations of how fast the tangled pile of garden rubbish and wet leaves etc, will be chipped and i think  it would be classed as waste transfer.

  6. six years isn't long enough really,  200k or 500k doesn't matter what's the bottom line? 3 to 4 years consistent top and bottom lines are better than rapidly expanding turnover. what percentage return customers do you maintain? i would think that you would be classed as 'key personal' so the only way is through a work out 1-3 years with targets and split payments

Yep, it's all sorts things. I looked at a van recently, t"was tidy apart from the airbag light being on, airbag ecu knackered. Dealer said he would sort it in the next day or two... until he found out there are none available due to Covid.

A mate of mine has got a small extension to build, can't get the bricks he needs. You got it, due to Covid.

My vans airbag ecu went, new one on back order no idea when and £240, ebay repair £100 3 days
