  1. Being an American it was funny to see how many folks here suddenly discover they were of Scottish descent after Braveheart came out. I have been told that a portion of my family were Cornish miners who came over during the gold rush. Another branch of my family came over during the original 13 colonies. So if I am Cornish who should I hate? Where do I sign up for the Cornish Liberation movement?

  2. I wouldn't trade my life as a commoner for William's or Harry's life of "wealth." They lost their mother in a horribly public way. They've lived their lives in a fish bowl. I am so glad the press didn't take photos of every girl I dated. To me, Harry just wants a shot at feeling normal, to be one of the guys. I respect him for that. I am sorry he lost his chance to serve because the media thinks its their duty to fill us in on every scrap of royal gossip.

  3. I use a Corona Bull lopper on a 12' fiberglass pole and a Marvin head pruner on a 10' pole. They are great for dead wooding oaks, pruning fruit trees and many other purposes. I climb with them about a third of the time.

  4. Nice work Ed. Sorry about your helmet, your midichlorian count must have been low that day.

I got called in the middle of the night to try to do something about a the trees in a mudslide. Half of someone's backyard slid down the hill with three trees in it. All the trees were standing when it came to a rest on the road below.

  5. I love this story. I want to see a picture of this person when they catch him.

"Police in central England are hunting for a badly scorched would-be copper power cable thief after finding a hacksaw embedded in an 11,000 volt power cable Saturday night.

The thief, who also left a lit blow torch at the scene, is expected to be badly charred, spiky haired and not exactly the brightest bulb in the socket."

  6. I am not certain I am smart enough to figure out how to put a video on youtube but I will give it a try. Every job recently has been in slushy wet snow and all my gear is dirty beyond belief. We are supposed to melt this next week and I'll be able to clean it all so it looks pretty.

  7. Great set up OM,Hows the chipper cant say ive ever used a morbark.:icon14:

I love my Morbark chipper. The Caterpillar diesel engine in it died at 86 hours and was replaced under warranty but I think that was a fluke. I would definitely buy another Morbark.
