  1. No, fair enough. Just commenting on my own experiences. That's said, the new twin wheeled ones could be a good alternative to trannys and so on. It's all horses for courses I guess!
  2. I can't see what the fascination is with cabstars. They're underpowered (older ones, can't comment on the new ones), unstable on the road when loaded up, no room in the cab- try getting three blokes with lunchbags, ballistics on - it's crampt to say the least! Did I mention that they're bouncy? That's said, they're handy for getting down footpaths and alleyways...
  3. Looks like someone's had a go with a giant meccano set!
  4. Cheers Steve. I wear a visor, but when it comes to dust, they're pretty hopeless! Gotta agree with blocking down, not very nice. Squinting kinda helps. Maybe I ought to invest in goggles...
  5. Crap in the eye is the main one for me, I'd say. Although every other day I seem to manage a smack on the arm, head, flick in the eye from some rogue twig... par for the course

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
