  1. I orderd a 15 in K041 format, I received a K095 Mount. The seller is sending me out the proper bar and a return label. Am telling you, Ireland is no joke, just about everything goes wrong.
  2. Hope it goes up in flames along with the factory that made it, everyone with a brain has had enough of the batter shit. Very surptised people can not see through this crap.
  3. Well its clear the clutch was a gonner from the first images posted, only one clutch shoe left, no wonder it took out the side cover.
  4. Found out for certain the bar that fits the Efco 4510 or the Oleo Mac 451 is actually a K041 mount. It oils through the large holes that the chain tensioner fits into, there is no other hole in the bar for oiling though people put K095 mount bars on these with laminated Aluminium cores and drill the aluminum clamped between the rails to allow oil to flow up the tensioning hole and into the bar rail. This will work, BUT the K095 bar has an oil hole in the side of it, so that would need plugged or the oil would get out of it as the casing does not seal it. Best off to get the correct K041 mount bar, though I see no lightweight bars in this mount there are the usual laminated ones from Oregon and even Husqvarna. UPDATE TO SHOW BAR NUMBERS The correct bar for Oregon is 180MLBK041 or 180TXLBK041. The TXL bar is lightweight aluminum core, but not for sale in Ireland, have seen them in Poland though.
  5. Thanks for posting. The seller of the saw sent me an image of the bar, it stated K041. Hope this helps others looking for info on what bar the Efco 4510 or the Oleo MAC 451 uses. I bought the saw off this guy locally as I had bars and chains that fit so will save me quite a bit of money on replacements, he only used it to tidy up after a tree fell on his drive during a stom a few months ago, a bargan to me if there is such a thing in a clamshell.
  6. Thanks for posting, I will ring the saw owner and confirm, if he is up to looking at the marks on the bar.
  7. looking for a 15 inch 325 x .050 that takes 64 link chains as I have a buncn of them new that I kept / SP33G. Not sure if I had them for a 16 inch bar or 15, sold the saw two year ago.
  8. Paying 35 euro a gallon really has no bennefits other than to the seller.
  9. Are the Husqvarna 4543 XP saws discontinied, anyone have experience of them. Are they reliable.
  10. You are spot on there, I hate a design that means more work when its not needed. Am torn between the CS4310 and the CS501, not a lot of difference in price, but quite a bit in weight and power, I hate being old and having to diddle the figures to keep on keeping on. I picked up a CS501 in the shop, it felt heavier than I remember them, sold mine three years ago now and was more than happy with the weight at that time. Anyway, I like that the 4310 uses the small mount husky now, them bars that come on them Eco saws are solid and heavy, great workhorses if ya don't have wonky elbows.
  11. Yep, lots of plastic on them now. Not too many saws in the small sizes now that are not clam and plastic. People say the clam shell design is not as robust as the split case type, but they are dam near as expensive now as a split case saw in Ireland.
  12. What ever gave you that idea. I worked a mechanic and welder most of my life, am wll used to cleaning up things. I just hate bad designs.
  13. That was a bargain. I had two of the makita version / EA4300, liked them big time.
  14. That is a very lackluster saw, the next size up is a better bet, even then I had to remove the cat from it to wake it up, it does not rev high either so not fast cutter. Am also looking to upgrade to something bigger to cut fireweed as that Echo CS352 is still too slow for that, it will get things done but will consume your time to no end, am old and do not wish to spend all day doing what could be done in a lot less time.
  15. Want to stick with one saw plan, I have a couple of smaller saws that are clam shells, and had no trounle with them, a Cs352 that I removed the car from, it is way better now, and a MS251 that has been passed on to me, it did no work with its previous owner, I wast to seell it as I dont like it, too heavy for its power, the ocd in me hates so much about it too, cleaning it nearly caused me to melt down, there was a half a pund of dirt in behind the plastic plate that covers the clutch side casing, the fact dirt got behind that is more than difficult to comprehend, same on the easy start side, there is another plastic cover that stores up dirt by the pound inside the starter housing, the echo two minutes with an airline and its clean, the stinl two hours with a screwdriver then the airline, what a crap design.. I had a couple of CS501 saws, liked them ok, they buzzid in my hands and that I did not like, they are 1 kg lighter than the 621 echo, I lifted the two in a shop at the weekend, first time I handled the 621, it feels good, others keep saying its a clumbsy saw, dam the bit of it. Anyway, I need a smallre saw to do firewood when I get it for free, otherwise its not worth the effort, my wonky elbows do not like weitht.
