This looks like an interesting tree, possibly a pollard. note the flat surface on the section, which may be a clean (soft rot break) but I think is more likley the old pollard cut. The fungus is uestulina/kretschmaria. Where is this park?

its in danbury near chelmsford there is a fair amount of warter about which i know kretsmaria like im going to find news report to tell you more

Does not say much apart from it is a home to bats and has a hollow trunk and also tree work will be carried out on the tree soon to make safe could be interesting to see. what would you do to it.
