Im nearly getting my firewood business up and running and was wondering what kindling machine members would recommend??

I can get free softwood offcuts from pointing round stakes which seem to me to be ideal for kindling?

I have just bought a kindlett from fuelwood. Great machine would use anything else. I have mine available to hire if you want to try before you buy.

Its a 2009 model and will produce upto 100 nets per hour.

This machine requires two people to operate it unlike th earlier slower model.

pm for any further details

Why would i want to buy then off some one else it reduces my profit margin?

and then i lose control of quality, service and suplying local timber to local customers

You might want to buy it off someone else because investing £7k in a kindler is a lot of money, and will take a long time to recover if your not selling a LOT of kindling.

And if you have'nt got aready supply of the right timber, its going to cost you more to make it than to buy it in at the right price.

Buying it in will still give you a healthy profit margin, and allow you to build up that side of the business.
