transit overheating ish

Pulled thermostat out and it didn't look right. Placed in boiling water and it didn't seem to do anything so have removed it completely. Just done a test run and the temp stayed normal. I hope this has sorted it. Radiator is in good condition and clean. Thanks for the advice

I'd get a new thermostat if it were me.

They are in there for a reason.

They are but in this type of weather they can be a pain. Had to modify a tractor thermostat once in the middle of harvest due to overheating never overheated again. Stayed cold in winter though. I will reinstate mine when summer is over

We had a ford tractor that did not have one for years as it would not behave with one in.

Still blew the head twice over the years though
