Hiya

Would there be a problem swapping the rings that the leg loops and bridge attach to on the Vega, with the bigger rings off a Petzl Sequoia?

The problem with customising kit is that items such as harnesses etc are given a CE mark as a complete unit or system. If you change a component you are technically removing the CE mark. If that item then fails your insurance cover could be invalidated on those grounds. I've had the same issue with changing the rope on my zillon. Petzl told me I shouldn't do it because the system gained its CE mark as a complete unit.

Hope this is helpful (from a Loler point of view anyway)

Hiya Timon, yeah I thinking that'd be the case. Shame though, I just want the leg loops to hang down a little bit further at the front. I'll find out who makes the ones on the Vega and see if they do a bigger version.
