Is the reset for the brushcutter the same as the saws? Leave it running on come for 90 seconds at least then blip the throttle to set to normal running?

I so hate it when predictive text changes your words without you realising.! So I meant to say is the mtronic reset for brushcutters the same as the saws in that you leave it on choke for 90seconds minimum then blip the throttle to set to normal idol? And do I need to remove the cutting head whilst doing this?

we had a fs450 that would work for about 20min then revs would just die off till it was unusable. in some part of the carb there was a tiny little metal gauze filter that was full of grey gunk cleaned it out and it was fine after that, sorry i cant remember which exact bit of carb it was in maybe someone else can explain , but was an easy fix. hope this parts diagram link works i think the guaze is part no.24

might help or could be way off! carl

Dropped the machine of at my local dealer today and had a little chat with one of the mechanics there, he seems to think it's the solenoid valve sticking which apparently is quite common. Fingers crossed it'll be back at work trouble free soon enough.

So picked the machine up yesterday from my local, they replaced the solenoid valve, which didn't work, stripped and rebuilt the carb which didn't work, plugged it into diagnostic software which said it's running fine so lastly just changed out for a new carb. So now it's finally running right I'm interested has anyone else had similar issues which resulted in a new carb cuz from what I'm being told there is an issue with rubbish carbs on the 460 and I should change over to Husqvarna.
