yesterday i snapped the neckband spring for my peltorIII H540B ear defenders so i swapped it with set which had worn out plastic to seal against the skin.

this left me with two perfectly good ear cups and foam so i decided to stuff the extra foam inside the good set.

they are rated at snr35 anyway. i wonder what they are now???

the noise i now hear is vastly quieter than it was before but the only drawback with this is that my head now gets very hot very quickly.

is it a bad idea to put two foam bit where there is only meant to be one?
