Does anybody have info with regards mortality rates of newly planted trees?

Specifically looking at mortality rates of Council tree stock within the first 3 years of planting. Would also be interested what percentage of deaths are down to vandalism?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers Sean

From memory I think it's about 25% failure rate. BS8545 may mention this in the introduction.

Yes that seems to be the most common figure batted around Google etc. I'd really like to see what percentage are down to vandalism. I'll give one of the tree officers in Brizz a buzz. Cheers Paul.
