Following Monkeyd's previous threads and David Oakmans postings on the subject of classic paintings/drawings of trees in the landscape (from the past) and photographs taken from the same viewpoint here's my contribution.

 

The drawing I done lat summer....this year i returned.....it's fascinating that it's pretty much the same!

From the orientation of your impression, it's hard to work out what MEWP you were actualy in, whilst capturing the scene and gaining that particular perspective.

 

I'd guess you must of been back about 150 yards from the Tree, and up around 45 ft.

 

 

Was it a Leo 18GT perchance?
