TW190 Owners........Check Your Hydraulic Hoses!

As part of my (rather sloppy :blushing:) weekly checks, I failed to notice a split in the hydraulic hose that feeds the top roller.

 

As you may be able to see in the pic, the stainless steel inner sheath of the pipe had worn away the bottom right corner of the hole on the bodywork where the pipe passes through. The bodywork then fought back and holed the pipe. Had to shut down machine and chuck the brash on the truck in an 'old-school' stylie!(the bit of old garden hose and cable ties was put on on site to stop fluid dripping onto client's driveway)

 

New pipe is now fitted and I've cut away some bodywork and edged it in rubber to allow for pipe vibration.

 

Just something to be aware of.
