341 on 325

Helo this is my first thread

 

I am looking to convert my 341 from 3/8 to 325, has anyone done it and does anyone know which bar I can use, does a bar for a 260 fit or do I need a special oregon bar. Any advice much apreciated

 

yes we have done it to our saws

dealer should be able to tell you or when i remember will look up numbers on bars

yep i have one i run a 260 15" bar on. i run a 9 tooth sprocket on mine and as a result the chain needs an extra 2 links to what the bar states. im not sure how many links you'd need with a smaller sprocket. would advise going for a 9 tooth sprocket though

 

we only have 1 extra link

bar says 67 we use 68

and we are on 9 toothed
