Husky 560xp oil reservoir valve?

No, it's not the screw but thanks wood wasp.

 

Yes Mark it is this brass filter. The part on the working saw is brass coloured and appears to be a filter anyway. I just assumed it must be some sort of valve. So is there a valve just in behind the brass filter? If so I am pretty sure both these are missing.

 

I'm on my phone and the image off parts is hard to make out when I zoom in.

 

Oil tank vent, meant to let air in, but nothing out.
