Stihl 025 + Aspen

I took it all apart and blew out and cleaned everything yesterday. All pristine except the diaphragm was a bit soft and distorted.

 

It started first time but then stopped and wouldn't go again. I've now ordered a rebuild kit.

 

I'll report back but it may be a few weeks before I can get round to it now.

All sorted! The carb rebuild kit worked and it now runs sweet as a nut. Unleaded + Stihl oil 50:1 just to get back to basics. I'll go back to the Aspen when I use it.

Pleased it was just the carb kit and now it's up and running.

 

When you use Aspen2 you may have to adjust the idle stop and maybe the low speed jet but best just to try it first and adjust as and if needed.
