Does anyone use an electric firewood processor?

Say a palax or dalen in paticular

Wondered what they were like compared to a pto version

Both manufactures tell me they have the same or similar output

We used to have a Hakki Pick 1X with both 3Phase electric motor and PTO option. The electric option was superb, more power and much quieter, you could also walk around the machine as there was no Tractor in the way- had to be used undercover though.

The building i split in is very narrow and difficult to get tractor and palax in , and i want to get a log deck in ( sick of lifting timber)

Plus i get a lot of fumes at the moment

It has no elecric so i need a gene ,so thought about a bigger generater to run possibly 2 or 3 machines instead of 2 or 3 tractors

It maybe cheaper on fuel i need to get the correct power generater to mach output

has anybody gone down this route?
