Fair enough :) Stick a sign in it 'FREE WOODCHIP' I reckon the locals will have nicked it all by Thursday lol ;)

I think a sign saying "DO NOT TOUCH" would work better, it would be gon e by Wednesday luch!

We took our telehandler to Huddersfield to clear the woodchip from our job down there, arranged for with AHS for lorry to be there between 10 and 11 am and he finally showed up at 2pm, I'm trying to claim some downtime, as Jenkinsons do the same if they are slow to get loaded.

I wouldn't mind but its 210 mile trip, and to top it off someone stole a good chunk of the timber from the compound which had been sold to a firewood merchant, so not a good day on Thurdsay really.

Steve your better off using Vickery in a situation like that. Haulage is always a nightmare to be honest !

Just tell Charlie you'll sell the wood chip from your yard elsewhere if they don't re-imburse you for downtime on this site.

Its only the second time I've done it like that as we've only just bought our own telehandler and wanteds to try it, and it was only as Charlie and Neil are persistently on the phone wanting chip that i did it.

If I can shift it elsewhere in future I will, unless they pay they downtime.

Give James a bell next time mate he's never let us down on haulage when it's really mattered. AHS are desperate for chip I believe hence promises they

often can't fulfill lol
