Just a quick thanks to Ian for very generously giving me the wood to make the pens, I've still got a few pieces left but waiting for more kits being delivered.

Glad I could help, I'll keep an eye out for more pieces . I've recently got some purple heart and some oak from a wine cask in France, but looking for some different pen kits for that.

Hope you can use them box blanks, a few splits in them.

I was planning on turning the box down to remove the splits to see what was left, pretty sure I can make a few out of them though.Like you say its hard to find decent kits that are a bit different.
