Makita mod ?

Hi, just wondering if any of you chaps know anything about the 'Makita EA3201s' it's the Q-A model as opposed to the 'EA3200s' which has the standard twin stud bar clamping arrangement, what I'd like to know is if it's possible to remove the rear blanking stud without damaging the saw so that I can adapt it to take the standard 2 stud drive cover !

I know that all the chain tensioner parts for the 3200s fit and the drive cover will fit without the rear stud but I'd like to have the rear stud in place if possible !

By the way the 'Makita EA3200s' is basically a 'Dolmar PS32-c' and the 'Makita EA3201s' is a 'Dolmar PS32-TLC' if this helps !

Any help will be most appreciate, many thanks T7...:thumbup1:

To be honest for your safety that cover and integral parts fit each different model C And TLC the parts aren't that much the outside chain cover is approx £18 and the integral parts to make it complete is around the £15 mark I could get you the parts but they would be Sebring red and then you would end up with a DOLMAK

Ah good man are you a dealer/shop, do you have a website or a phone number and how would I pay you ?

Beautiful saw to use, runs, revs and cuts superbly, shame about the diabolical tool-less chain adjuster/bar clamping system !...
