Odd Broken Branch

Morning guys,

I live opposite a wood when i walk my dogs daily and upon entrance theres a fairly large willow. It has a branch that reaches out across a brook and over the main path and is resting on a medium sized straight sycamore.

Now in the bad winds a month ago I noticed a hairline crack that ran from about 2meter up from he stem for about 5 meters. Now its a not so hairline crack and really is getting quite dangerous.

How would you go about removing the branch since it is supported on both ends and spilt in two.

I would upload pictures but I'm not to sure how to do it.

Regards

Rorz

mistahben, not had any experience with rigging yet, on the course end of next month. Not to sure you could do that tho as the branch itself is about 15meter long

Gary, I don't need to but when your not in work and the bugger is staring you in the face every day you get a bit itchy to pull it down
