It looks like I'm off to a wedding in Ireland soon; point is I hate weddings, hate leaving work (to me it's the height of stupidity when a skipper leaves the wheelhouse in a storm - in other words when I'm busy and need to keep customers happy) and simply don't want to know about it. I've never been to Ireland but have relatives from every British country; Wife is Scottish whose mother is from Donegal blah blah blah. Anyway, I was thinking of driving since I can't be bothered with airport parking etc, but I've just been warned that driving a London registered car (we have) through some areas in Ireland aint a good idea? Really? Pardon my total ignorance - can anyone advise???! :blushing:

Always found the irish great, hospitable people. Think you are living in the 70's mate. That 'trouble' all forgotten about.

Met some irish people on holiday in france and we have spent many a weekend over here and over there.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
