Hi.

Looking at the Cobra 62 cc saw. Dealer says its the same walbro carb as used by huskie saw and the engine is a Kawasaki. Has anyone any experience of these saws?

Whilst I realise you get what you pay for I need a saw for 2 days work per week. Normally cutting Ash around 20 - 30 cm.

Any advice or recomendations most appreciated.

Cheers

Looks to have good backup and plenty of dealers plus lots of other product. My husky had to have a new main casing as it leaked oil everywhere plus top cover after the spark arrestor fell off and the exhaust gases melted it plus the back of my glove. The stihl has always been a pig to start and the echo brake band snapped within a week of very light use. Husky was covered by warranty thankfully. Quality brands?

I doubt its anything to do with Kawasaki, I have never seen a Kawasaki chainsaw nor any engine in the 60ccplus bracket

How were you holding the saw to melt the back of your glove. First thing you do with a saw is take the spark arrester off. You sound like you have a lot of bad luck with saws, for your sake don't try sky diving :D
