Bit of an update. Asked the local dealer for a devis ( written quote) last week, came in at 1036 euros for Dolmar 7910. Online from rotopino.fr price is 734euros and the makita is 638. How do dealers compete with this?

it is so difficult to compete with a company that big with sites in every EU country who sell for instance every product Makita produce and if only a small percentage of those items come direct from the horse's mouth then they have already made a saving on dealer's buying within the EU

 

and some of these promo pricing that happens does'nt make sense
