Hi

Anyone have an ash vacuum for their wood stove? Not the attachment type but the stand alone type?

Looking to buy one but would be good to hear of anyone's experiences of any.

Thanks

Will

Just scoop most of it out with the ash pan. Then dust pan and brush the rest of the hearth. Hum kids these days ;)

Hi Dad;)

Not sure if you have seen the ludlow up close but the ash pan compartment is pretty tight, and the ash pan is four-sided so no scooping, and raised lines on the base too so not easy to sweep.

I had a close shave whilst cleaning out the stove with Henry, sucked up some embers that went into the bag. The vacuum acted like a blacksmiths forge and ignited the bag. Luckily I smelt it before I put it back under the stairs!! V lucky!

Hi COMMANDO ours done that too thanks Jon
