The PS420 as it should be (with the help of Shavey's excellent services).

What Oregon chain is rebranded as Dolmar 484, 21BPX or 95VPX? :confused1:

It surely is a "green" semi chisel, as it has larger rakers than LPX....

No problem it's good too share this information and find something that works

It always is nice to share such info, specially when it isn't obvious! :001_smile:

The reason that the 420/421 comes with a spur is of course the same reason that it has a 3 digit model number - it is meant as a semi-pro saw, and not a pro saw.

95vpx - same as Husqvarna H30 (pixel) chain.

The raker bulges foward to allow a shallower slope on the "ramp".:001_smile:

Dolmar 484 is 0.325"pitch and 0.050" gauge so its either equivalent to Oregon 95vpx or 20bpx.However with rakers it must be 95vpx narrow kerf.

T.C.D your bar would be 325 x .058

Does anyone make a full chisel chain in narrow kerf in .325 x 1.3 ?

Stihl's PS is only available in 3/8. I run Stihl RS on all my other saws ( the Dolmar was bought for the garden ) and would prefer full chisel on the narrow bar as well if possible.

Perhaps my only option is to change the bar and rim to 3/8 ?

You can get Stihl RS in 0. 325 x 0.050 and it will run on narrow kerf bars.:thumbup1:

You will need to check clearance between the chain guide plates on the oil feed and the clutch cover.
