Gearbox bearings this time

Trafic seems to be programmed to have a Breakdown every 12 months.

 

Rumble in the gearbox, which has had oil changes at the dealership on time, is the bearings.

 

Van at specialist in Glasgow who can do it without removing the box for £500 but he's busy and it's off the road for a week.

 

Real pest.

Quite a common fault with them I believe, brother has one and box is on it's way out.

Although he knew when he bought it that it would be an upcoming job.

Was aware but hoped my servicing regime would keep it at bay. Would rather change bearings than go for second hand box.
