New build landscaping

It is a builder's duty to bury what he can in the garden. I have seen them using wacker plates to level ground and bricks before laying the turf. Maybe if they could garden they wouldn't be builders? I had some builders washing the cement lorry out on the football pitch I had to mow. I very nearly dug up some turf to throw in the newly laid concrete but was stopped by a fellow groundsman

 

This site was done by a landscaping firm though, should know better

Shortly after my parents moved into one house (a new build), Dad was digging out for some footings for a shed and uncovered a full pallet of roofing tiles, still strapped up and still on the pallet :confused1:

 

He was more chuffed than owt as he needed some to match the house for the buuilding he was digging the footings for :thumbup1:
