am I correct in thinking that the rear handle spring that goes on just above the petrol cap on a 576 is now different from the one on a 365,372 etc or am I making that up ?

The springs are completely different, the 372 screws onto a threaded extebtion of the tank, the 576 has a self tapping screw into the tank.

ahh I thought that,glad I ordered one now,i take it the one that goes into the cylinder head is different aswell ?

The av spring in the cylinder is the same for both 372 and 576.

 

nice one,cheers !,I have to say I find the 576 much better balanced than the 372,nice saw to work with
