Is it a big no no to use an Alpine and a biner instead of a ring? :confused1:

 

 

Yes from a distance it's hard to see if the bina is cross loaded or if the gate is rubbing against the stem. For a quick and up close attachment point I see nothing wrong. But I defiantly wouldn't suggest it as a main anchor.

Glad you told me Adam. Better switch to a ring then. Been using a biner....
