Panel vans, what to get?

My 54plate mwb semi high top transit has pretty much come to the end of its life as it's rusted so badly it's not worth repairing. So I'm now looking for a replacement van of a similar size. Choices seem to be either another transit, merc sprinter or vw lt35. Wanted to see what people thought about the newer transits or the other options? Ideally I want something that doesn't rust too badly and is good on fuel

Not driven transit lately but out of a sprinter and iveco the sprinter is far better IMO. Drives better with less maintenance the only thing the Iveco does better is rust. Only a few years old and it has lost a lot of the paint from the chassis. Renaults used to suffer from front wheel bearings if loaded heavy apparently.
