All help appreciated,mines stripped the thread that's inserted in spring that screws into cylinder,is this stud captive within the spring as can't fish it out? Hope this makes sense

I just fitted new av spring to rear handle, lot heavier than the original. Unless the spring is broken I don't think you can't get the inner screw out

It's not the av Jon,it's the stud that's stripped its thread,my guess is not tightened correctly (or even at all) from latest warranty claim,my local dealer is "agricultural" to say the least

Yes mate,threaded another stud into it to check casting is ok,I'll just buy another full av then

The bolt cannot be extracted from the spring, but it's not captive, as in it can rattle round inside the spring.
