ascender/descender what to get.

I have been thinking about gettin something like a lockjack but there so many different types of climbing aids kicking around with spider jack and zigzag. I'm confused on what to go for. I have spent 5 years climbing on a prussik can someone help me out with suggestions. Thanks

Well if your considering a Lockjack, why are you posting on the SRT Forum?

 

Anyway, I'd recommend the Hitch Hiker for many reasons that tick all the boxes for my requirements.

Other will have other opinions because there are so many devices on the market now, choice is a very personal thing depending upon what suits your style.

Rope wrench...easy tool to use...if you want a mechanical...go for a rope runner head to treestuff now they got them in stock...

After starting on Prussik/pulley I recently got a lock jack and I'm quite liking it.

Hitchhiker. It works great both SRT and DDrt. So pleased I got mine.
