Just about to put in an order tonight and started thinking,

What eye2eye cords are you guys using? My rope is a kernmaster I'm just wondering what length/ make of cord works best that you have found? which shop sells the best one? etc links would be great :001_smile:

to be used with the rope wrench.

Thanks

If you're not sure about hitch cord performance then I'd save the expensive e2e for a bit and buy 5 or so lengths of different hitch cord, use scaffold knots, and see which one and what length you like best.

Hands down beeline has to be the best for me on kernmaster, 3 wrap Knut and it's as smooth as. 75cm length eye2eye.

Body weight will vary on what hitch you use and how many wraps or braids ect. Also another factor is what length your tether is, I'm running a 10" stiffy :)

I don't personally buy or splice eye to eyes anymore. I like to be able to set and re-set the length of the cord by feeding through the fishermans knots. Gives you more options for short hitches etc. Short hitch is important when using Rope wrench IMO due to sit back when ascending.
