Have been looking into building a new Adwords campaign recently after reading about it and seeing how inefficient some of mine were. Is anyone doing their own with much success? Or maybe outsourcing it if so at what sort of cost and ROI?

I think Adwords is a waste of time and money. Although fairly easy to set up.

I'd suggest a well presented website, and appropriate registration with various search engines.

If i browse for anything, I would rarely click one of the adverts down the side of the screen. this would however, count as a view in your analytics on Adwords. Google places on the other hand gets you on the map screen for your area, again the website and links etc will boost your position on the page.
