Hi

Wondered if anyone can help. Have a 241, it is starting on choke/easy start, runs ok for few minutes & then starts losing power. Have kept it well maintained, have serviced it - cleaned all filters & everything I can think of but this has me stumped:confused1::confused1::confused1: Any ideas?

Cheers

The symptoms are typical of a lean high jet. I would suggest doing as morten suggested, but it may be an incorrect carb adjustment, hence why I asked about plugging it in. I would assume you've set the carb as you're supposed to, since the fault emerged

Rather than checking the tank vent itself, when it bogs down, you should put the saw on its side and briefly open the tank filler cap (to relieve any vacuum). If that helps, you need to change the tank breather cap.

In any case, it sound like a fuel starvation issue.
