our mulcher is fixed tooth and we've stalled the engine on it a lot of times hitting concrete and bricks i would say if we use a set of belts per day were doing ok there are 10 mm plates up the back of the drum and its bent them i didn't think 13hp would have had enough hp or momentum in the drum to damage them
