We looked at all the processors before we bought the tajfun 420 it's the best of the bunch IMO unless you got 40 k to spend then it's bindenberger they are in a league of there own. Speak to Andy at Kilworth he will come and do a demo you will not be disappointed. It was the last machine I looked at & did the deal there and then

Looked at this at the APF shame it is not a circular saw what tonnage the splitter? other thing I did not like was the joy stick and silly electric buttons

can see that being a problem also looks a bit flimsy would like to see one

with about 5000 tonnes through it see how it stands up.

Lots of people on here seem to be talking about them so time will tell.

Are they cheep then.

Cheers Chris.

Just coming to terms with the fact that most 40cm plus machines have chainsaw bars, don't know about the palax 100 think that as a 1m circular saw blade, also don't like the electrics on a machine, suppose after 5,000 tones any machine won't be new anymore. But could be frustrating if a machine stops due to a broken wire or faulty switch. Don't know about price, i would have to ring Andy at Kilworth.

regards Ksl.

The deal I did with Andy was to trade it in every two years at a set price so not really worried. I would say there not the sort of machine that wants leaving outside full time. The joystick is what makes it so quick it would take a good man to keep up with it all day.

What would you say makes the Bindenberger a better machine and what meterage would you need to be doing to justify it? oh and what model Bind. were you looking at? Thanks
