jensen 328 problem

hi. when i feed branches into my 328 they slide to the right every time (towards the inside of blade) and the anti-stress is kicking in all the time even on 2 inch stuff. blades are sharp and springs seem to be tensioned evenly.

i always thought the feed system was designed to send the timber more towards the outside of the blade where it travels faster. any suggestions? thanks

Hi

Timber chipped nearer the centre of the flywheel is easier on the chipper firstly there is a mechanical leverage advantage chipping nearer the centre and also a weight/momentum - so what you described is correct!

I will PM you some other adjustments you can make to the stress control
