Oregon sarp or Carlton chain had probs with all, last few Oregon have streched alot, what are your thoughts?

 

Of those three I would reckon Oregon to be best - have you made sure your oiler output is OK and the clutch drum sprocket/rim is in good condition? Are your bar rails worn?

 

Have you tried Stihl chain?

If you hate the stretch try STIHL chain its pre streched.

 

I find if you go old skool with Oregon chain ie tighten it for use slack it off at the end of the day the stretch issue does settle down after a while. I use solely Oregon chain 21BPX for choice.
