Name the fungi please? The tree has had these fruiting bodies for over 8 years. The tree is about 1metre diameter and approx. 250 years old. How long does the tree have left?

A photo of the tree in its entirety would be useful in terms of crown condition, location, etc which will allow a better assessment.

As an aside I'd be inclined to say it's a Ganoderma, probably australe
