Walnut Tree

Hi All,

 

I wonder if anyone could help me, i have a walnut tree that was late coming into leaf and when it did the leaf dried up and fell off, the tree has basically no leaf at all now there has been no disturbance to roots no compaction to them and no fungal brackets seen at all.

 

if anyone has any thought i would be very grateful.

Walnuts are susceptible to a fungal disease that causes total leaf loss by early Aug.

I wouldnt rule out armillaria sp either, can be very quick in drought.
