aside from the jokes.. the cam lock is quite good if you have a spaz moment and load it the wrong way round.. stops you hurtling to your death quite nicely:thumbup:

I had a couple of days work last week in the big city. Got talking to some SRTbased window cleaners. At their work rate, the petzl id lasts about 3 months. They use a lift in the building to get up and abseil down.

Had a decent play with it today

Seems fine and up to the job

As bristow has said not the best for dropping branches on but I will have to be super aware of that

But as a base anchor device it certainly seems more than capable and totally idiot proof
